Anne Mount
Anne Mount is an award-winning journalist. a Literary Guild author, poet, and a screenwriter (most articles and books having been published under her former name, Anne Mayer). Her articles on health and fitness, marriage and relationships, pets, travel, food and entertainment have been published in: The New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, The Dallas Morning News, The Marin Independent Journal, Reader's Digest, Ladies' Home Journal, Hemispheres, Harper's Bazaar, Redbook, McCall's, Seventeen, Bride's, Mademoiselle, American Baby, Child, Parents, Parenting, Family Weekly, Lady's Circle and other publications.
Her book, How To Stay Lovers While Raising Your Children, (St. Martin's Press) was published not only in the United States, but in Canada, Great Britain, Brazil, Mexico and Taiwan. It was excerpted in three editions of Reader's Digest (USA, Great Britain, Canada), as well as reviewed in USA Today, and in over 80 publications in the United States alone. Mount appeared on the Today Show, with Katie Couric, and on well over 60 combined radio and television shows.
She is also co-author of The Bride, (Harry Abrams) a coffee table book celebrating 50 years of Bride's magazine and brides in general.
Mount has also worked on staff as an assistant features editor for Harper's Bazaar and senior associate editor for Lady's Circle.
When she isn't writing articles she is working on screenplays and books, or just hiking, working out, going to movies with her husband, Michael.
